Ken Gelman

Ken Gelman, an associate consultant for Robert Epner & Associates, has over 30 years of marketing research and strategy experience in senior management positions in the banking, insurance and investment sectors.  In these roles Ken has extensive experience across the spectrum of marketing disciplines from advertising and PR to Internet strategy and customer experience.

Ken's background, from early in his career, has been in building and running high-performing corporate staff departments in major financial institutions such as AXA and MetLife covering both retail and wholesale/B2B channels.  Ken served for 10 years at AXA Equitable as VP, Director of Market Research/Consumer Insights and over 12 years at MetLife as VP, Marketing Information and Research Center.  His experience in these global firms extended beyond US borders to a range of developed and emerging international markets.

Recently Ken is sharing his expertise by teaching at several important universities in the New York City area including: CUNY (City University of NY) Graduate School; Kean University; and the European School of Economics.  As a university professor Ken teaches courses in Consumer Behavior, Strategic Marketing, and Principles of Marketing.

Ken holds Bachelor and Master degrees from Clark University in the field of Geography.
